IN THE IRIS OF THE MANTIS QUEEN

She came to me
Vibrating so high my spine was forced to grow
To accommodate just a sliver
Of what she had to share with me
High-pitched vibrations induced warbling winces
Body contorted by the frequency of her calling
Fingers curled, each tip the position of a planet
In mantoid-infused solar system
The passageway for this transmission
Protected by a connection born of benevolence
She took the pain away
My body a vessel for her generosity
Purging everything unsaid
Every promise broken
Urging to replenish all things removed
With benevolent collaboration
And love as an inter species
Into your iris I’ll plunge
Queen of the Lily Pad
And spine-tingling extensions
She came to me
Saturated deep within my cells
Now this body moves to share everything she gave me
Beaconed out from the light of her eyes
Dropping down through dimensions
She came to me
And I was forced to grow
Encouraged to be the man
Of my Dreamtime
